Back to Nature (there's dirt there, I swear)

Time for an update on the outside world. Stewie saw me going outside with the camera, so he took over first:

[take special note here Wylie, that red stuff in the background is the bergamot we were discussing early in the season]

And then I wrestled the camera from his hands and got him to sit still (you can't see it here, but I put velcro on his butt):

  1. The same bergamot used to give Earl Grey tea a citrus taste? Awesome! Does it smell lemony? I thought bergamot was a bush or a tree...

Great photos of the boy. The one with him looking sideways is a winner.

  4. Burgamot! Thank you. My aunt gave me some of that a few years ago and I didn't know what it was called.

Nice looking garden. Maybe I should have you come by and design mine :)

Cute photos of Stewie too! Love the one with him looking sideways.

  6. Oh, I love your creeping jenny! mine's greener and with yellow flowers now, although I have some of the same variety as yours in a little corner now.
I've been thinking about doing bergamot. does it flower all season? I need more red in my garden.

thanks again for the ferns! happy to give them a new home. they're doing great.
I've bought some new plants from Canadian Tire, and I've made a few new beds after separating some of my old plants.

oh, sigh, I'm procrastinating again. I think I need to take some photos of my own garden and write my own post on this, or else I'll end up like someone I know who used to write COMPLETE POSTS in my comments... before she got her own awesome blog. ;)
